 Warlingham Parish Council has been awarded the sum of £6,370 from Awards for All towards producing two walks maps. The working title is ‘The Wild Ways of Warlingham’, with one of the maps describing a longer figure of eight walk where the two loops meet at The Green, and the other map being a shorter one suitable for wheelchairs and push-chairs. Councillor Simon Bold was the architect of the grant application and working with him to produce the maps is a team consisting of other parish councillors, a member of the Ramblers Association (Lisa Dunning), and other local walkers. Advice is also being provided by the Downlands Countryside Management Project. The maps should be available later this year.
