He is married with four children and five grandchildren all living locally. He has been a Parish Councillor for Warlingham East since May 2008 and in this role his main aim is to work with the Parish and District Council to retain Warlingham's village environment. He has specific responsibilities include the wildlife and open spaces working group and planning sub committee. Harry's other interests include serving as Chairman of the Tandridge Tenants & Lease Holders Forum; Chairman Special Projects Group and Chairman Special Projects Group working in conjunction with Tandridge District Council.
